Apparently, the Brits know a good thing when they see it. According to the dmwmedia “Buzz Watch,” UK searches for “crocs” have increased 8-fold in the past 3 months, and have taken the #1 spot as the most searched for fashion item. The share of UK Internet searches for “crocs” is up from a base of zero in the same week in 2006.
Overheard at a local pub:
Waitress: “May I bring you a pint of Newcastle Ale?”
Customer: “Straight away. That, and an x-tra large pair of black crocs…the ones with the holes on top.”
Waitress: “Perfect. Cheers!”
I’ve always said there are a two things I could sell in order to make a living: Tivo and Crocs. Don’t knock ‘em till you try ‘em.
