We made it home to Tulsa about 6:00pm Saturday evening after logging some 2000 miles over four days. The entire trip was an answer to prayer, and I thank God for all of you who lifted us up throughout the entire adventure. I wish I could say we hope to catch up on lost sleep, but I don’t think that will be happening for awhile!
A few items of note: I cannot say enough about the incredible Maternity Care staff at Jamestown Hospital. The nursing staff and doctors were so kind and accommodating, we could not have asked for a better experience. Also, our case manager from Lutheran Social Services has been fantastic in every way.
We stopped through Joplin on our way home and had a late lunch at Woody’s Smoke House with our good friend Paul McEntire. In case you haven’t heard, Paul is a brilliant photographer. He snapped a few images during our brief stay and put them into a short Quicktime video that you can watch below. Thanks Paul!
